“Growing up with dyslexia and a learning disability, school was never easy for me. Reading felt overwhelming, and I often felt misunderstood, which led to bullying from both students and, at times, teachers. I carried a lot of anger and often felt like I wasn’t “smart enough. I remember joining some programs hoping to finally belong, but I struggled to fit into a space where everyone already knew each other. I tried to change myself to be more accepted, but it only made me feel smaller and more lost.

Things began to change when I started asking for help and expressing myself through art, cosplay, and creature building—spaces where I didn’t have to struggle with words and could finally feel understood.

Now, I share my story for young people who feel like they don’t belong—especially those with learning disabilities like dyslexia. You are not alone, and your worth is not defined by how you learn.”
