Rich Clune, Forward for the Toronto Marlies
“I was introduced to YouthSpeak two years ago and coincidently joined them at an event right by a school where I grew up. The passion they have for their message related to mental health, anti-bullying and addiction is one that I firmly believe in. It is important for young kids to hear the speakers so that they can start to share the message in their schools and communities. The energy I feel when I’m in the rooms is extremely invigorating and I always leave feeling better. I am happy to support YouthSpeak in setting an example of what it means to have a healthy lifestyle and be an advocate for people who are struggling. We hope our message of hope inspires students to know that even when things get hard in life there is always a way out and that there is no shame in asking for help.”
